Quick Cheese Bread (Calcium-rich)

3 3/4 cups flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup margarine
2 1/2 cups shredded brick or cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups fat-free milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
  1. Combine all dry ingredients.  Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.  Stir in cheese.
  2. Combine milk and eggs.  Add to cheese mixture and mix until just moistened.
  3. Spoon into greaed 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
  5. Remove from pan immediately.

Servings:  6                    Amount of calcium per serving:  460 mg.

 Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body.
