Cheese Pie (Calcium-rich)

Cheese Pie (Calcium-rich)

1 8-inch pie shell
3 eggs, sligtly beaten
2 cups warm milk
4 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
2 Tbs. margarine
pinch of nutmeg, salt, and black pepper (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Partially bake the pie shell for 15 minutes.
  3. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the cheese evenly in the bottom of the pie shell and pour the milk mixture over it.  Sprinkle the top with nutmeg and dot with margarine.
  5. Place pie on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until the filling is set.

Servings: 6              Amount of calcium per serving:  305 mg.
