Cheese Pie (Calcium-rich)
1 8-inch pie shell
3 eggs, sligtly beaten
2 cups warm milk
4 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
2 Tbs. margarine
pinch of nutmeg, salt, and black pepper (optional)
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Partially bake the pie shell for 15 minutes.
- Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
- Spread the cheese evenly in the bottom of the pie shell and pour the milk mixture over it. Sprinkle the top with nutmeg and dot with margarine.
- Place pie on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until the filling is set.
