Cheese and Bean Quesadillas (Calcium-rich)

Cheese and Bean Quesadillas (Calcium-rich)

1 cup cooked, mashed pinto beans
1/2 cup shredded cheese
2 flour tortillas
  1. Spread mashed beans on one tortilla.
  2. Cover with cheese and top with second tortilla.
  3. Place in nonstick pan and cook both sides until slightly browned, about 2 minutes.

For spicier quesadilla, add diced green chilies.

Servings:  2                   Amount of calcium per serving:  288 mg.

Calcium helps prevent and treat high blood pressure.
