Local Emergency Planning Committee

The Local Emergency Planning Committee includes Teller County officials (county commissioners, fire, police, emergency management, health, social services, etc.), professional services (physicians, nurses, EMS/EMTs, etc.) and volunteers (organizations and individuals).

The purpose of the LEPC is to ensure that our county is unified and prepared to respond to any future emergency. It will serve as a coordination body for all official, commercial, and volunteer groups within our country that deal with protection and safety of our citizens.

The LEPC meets on the first Thursday of every month at Divide Fire Department on Hwy 67 north of Divide at 8:30 am.

Testimonials

My joints don't hurt me anymore!

"This is the best thing I've done in several years. I've lost 38 pounds; but the biggest accomplishment for me is that I went from a size 40" to a size 34" waist! This shows just how easy it is to follow a fitness program, change a lifestyle and, for me, my well being. My blood pressure has dropped, sugar levels are better and my joints don't hurt me anymore."  Bob, Woodland Park, CO
