Healthy Eating, Active Living: Basic Nutrition and Fitness Class

Do you want to be healthier, but don't know where to start?  Come to our FREE Healthy Eating, Active Living class to learn about the components of a healthy eating plan, portion sizes, good snack choices, and strategies for healthier eating every day.  You'll also learn the basics on developing a fitness routine. NOT a quick-fix diet plan, this class, led by Jane Enger, MPH, gives you the tools you need to develop healthier eating habits and get moving.  Whether you want to lose weight, control your cholesterol, or just feel better- you'll get information you can use every day.

Do you need more guidance developing a plan for a healthier you?  The Healthy Life- Healthy Heart program may be what you're looking for!  Call us to schedule a Health Risk Assessment, which will rate your risk for cardiovascular disease.  If you have an elevated risk, you can receive cholesterol and glucose testing free of charge.  A Registered Nurse Case Manager will work with you to set goals for reducing your risk and improving your heart health.  Exercise and nutrition consultation, tobacco cessation resources, medical referrals and one-on-one counseling will be available to you.
