SURVEY - MAJOR FINDINGS:

  • 46 Surveys - collected from a diverse set of respondents
  • ALL Five Sessions/Speakers received ""Excellent" or "Good" Ratings (see Table below) with respect to overall content; stimulation of thought for new ideas; ability to provide "usable" skills and knowledge
  • Vast majority (81%) of comments gave very favorable feedback (see Table below)
  • Clear preference for date of 2010 Summit - Monday, August 2nd (see Table below)

- Kind of a rant regarding commercial farming. I'd have appreciated more useful content for improving my district food program.  What can I do?!

+ I thought I was up on what was happening in the "food world" - What an eye opener!

- Needed more practical application

+ I wish she could have talked more! Riveting presentation - made me angry to hear about food politics!

+ Alarming and informative!

- Felt she was on a soap box rant...info was therefore not so applicable

- Really came across as politically biased and paranoid

+ Exceptional awareness training and I hope she becomes involved politically to promote the right things!

+ As always Ann's energy is contagious. Great reminder to keep kids moving so they may learn!
