Tai Chi for Health is a program geared mainly to older adults but all ages are welcome to attend a class.  There are many benefits to practicing Tai Chi: 

  • Better balance and fewer falls
  • Improved flexibility and mobility 
  • Great chance for socialization

The following are drop-in classes which you may join at any time.  Most classes are free.  Please contact the person listed for each class for details. 

Mondays

  • 9 AM Florissant Library -  - Call Pam Powers 294-7099 or Judy Ross 686-9122

Wednesdays

  • 10 AM Florissant Four-Mile Fire Dept. - Beginners - Call Meridel Gatterman 689-5861

Thursdays

  • 5:30 - 6:30 PM Woodland Park Library, Children's Room - Call Judy Ross 686-9122 or Cheryl Koc 687-2633

Fridays

  • 9 - 10 AM Woodland Park Library - downstairs.  Call Penny Brandt 687-1848
  • 10 - 11 AM Woodland Park Library - downstairs. Sun Style 73 Forms - Call Cheryl Koc 687-2633

         Use Midland Avenue entrance to the WP library.
