Alcoholics Anonymous Meets in Communities All Over Teller County

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, that they may solve their common problem and help others to achieve sobriety.

  9 A.M. SUNDAY     THE UTE PASS GROUP

Meets at the V.F.W. Hall. Take Highway 67 north 3 ½ miles from Woodland Park. Look for the small white building on the left-hand side with the flag.

4 P.M. SUNDAY    NATURAL HIGH MEETINGCripple Creek, Colorado, Episcopal Church at 4th and Carr Street. The mainstreet is Bennett. Go to 4th and Bennett; turn north one block to Carr. The church is on the northwest corner. Keep searching for the door – it’s around to the left from the front.7 P.M. MONDAY          THE MOTHER LODEThe Aspen Mine Center at 166 E. Bennett is available for meetings. Call Ted at (719) 689-3584. Or go to 2nd and Bennett, which is the mainstreet with all the casinos. Going west, the Aspen Mine is the second building on the southeast corner.

      When enough Al-Anons become available for service work, there will be an Al-Anon meeting in the future, either at the Aspen Mine Center or at the Victor Community Center, or in somebody’s church basement. Until then, there is www.al-anon-co.org

7 P.M. MONDAY     ABOVE THE BAR GROUP 

At the Community Partnership Family Resource Center in the Venture Foods lot, which is on the northeast corner of the light in Divide on Highway 24. Yes, it’s above Jackie’s Bar.

 12 NOON WEDNESDAY   BROWN BAGGERS GROUP 

At the Florissant Grange, 2009 County Road 31, in                  Florissant.

 7 P.M. WEDNESDAY           RULE 62 GROUP 

Victor Community Center that flys the American flag. 2nd and Portland. The mainstreet in Victor is Victor Avenue. Go to Victor and 2nd Street; turn south go one block to Portland. The Community Center is on the northwest corner. Enter at the side. This meeting starts when everyone gets there.

7 P.M. FRIDAY         LAKE GEORGE GROUP Lake George Community Center. Going west on 24, it’s before you get to Lake George, and looks like a county maintenance building on the north side of the highway. When you see the propane tanks you are near. Potluck last Friday of the month. 7 P.M. ADULT CHILDREN ANONYMOUS

5 P.M. SATURAY    ABOVE THE BAR GROUP
