What is Healthy Communities (formerly known as EPSDT)? (Children's Medicaid)

children-playing.jpgHealthy Communities (formerly known as EPSDT) is a special health-care program within Medicaid for pregnant women and for children from birth through 20 years of age.  It helps families get early identification and treatment of medical, dental, vision, mental health and developmental problems for their children.
