Should your child be tested for lead poisoning?

Blood Test for Lead Poisoning

Medicaid children should get this test at 12 and 24 months of age. Children up to age 6 who have never been checked for lead poisoning should also be tested.  The lead toxicity test is done with blood drawn from a child's finger.
