Scam Calls not from State Agency

Please be aware that you should never disclose personal information with anyone you do not know. 

There have been reports from Medicaid clients that someone claiming to be from Medicaid needs the client to verify personal information.

If a caller claims to be from Medicaid or the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (the State Agency) please ask for identifying information from the caller such as name, title, and phone number and then notify your EPSDT Outreach Worker with the specifics of the call including date and time of the incident.

In Teller County the EPSDT Outreach Worker is Sherril Sirochman, 687-6416, Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30.
