 Healthier Living Colorado Workshops...A 6-week Chronic Disease Self Management Program
(Classes available different dates/sites throughout the year)
Have you or someone you love been diagnosed with Diabetes or Pre-Diabetes? The workshop uses an evidence-based approach that will benefit your health through active self management. Participants will improve their health and increase their quality of life by finding practical ways to deal with better nutrition and exercise choices, understand new treatment options, and learn better ways to talk with your doctor and family about your health. Workshop leaders teach concrete steps such as goal setting, creating action plans, relaxation techniques, healthy eating and communication skills.
